First and foremost – this site is FREE for everyone to use!
LocalChores was started by Heather Peel, a mom, business owner, and member of the community. She was always looking for a way to find help with some hard to get to chores around her own house & yard, as well as thinking of a way to provide opportunities to the local people “peeps” in the community to make some extra cash. Heather’s grandmother struggles every year to find someone to shovel her driveway and roof! Her mother always needs someone to put in and take out her docks. LocalChores will provide a way for people in those same situations to post a chore and let the community of chore seekers help them out and make some money in return! Could be someone down the road, or 10 minutes away, but its in your community, so you are bound to know them or perhaps a relative or friend of a friend of a friend!
With this site we hope to build relationships, create and accomplish work & chores, encourage community-based support, and provide work for teenagers and adults within our own communities, for our own communities. LocalChores is WIN WIN for everyone!
