What kind of chores can I put here?
First, you need to use your best judgement on the type of work you are asking for help with. If it is a service that really requires professional help, such as an electrician needed to put in a new outlet, you really need to hire an electrician to do this work. We have setup a page called LocalPros where you can find businesses for any sort of service you may need professional help with.

Now, if its a chore, here are just a few ideas that we have heard that people are willing to pay someone to come and do because they cannot do it alone, or just want to hire it out so its “done” once and for all!

Registering vs. Just Posting
You have the easy & quick option to Post a chore right from any page by clicking on the “Post A Local Chore” button. If you do register first, there is a 2 step process. You register, then check your email for an automatically generated email from LocalChores.com. In that email is your username and password. It’s always an ugly long password, so write it down or copy it, then come to our site and click on the login button in the upper right corner of website. Login with the username & password you received in your email. That’s it – now you can go to  “My ChoreBoard” and edit your password and update your profile with a photo if you’d like!

How do I delete a chore?
If you post a chore without registering & logging in, you cannot delete your chore. By default it remains active for 30 days and then is removed from the site. If you register first, then login to our site, you can then post as many chores as you’d like. You will then see a section called “My Choreboard” in the upper right corner of the screen. This section allows you to delete chores if they are completed right away.
